Morning-After Pill

The Morning-After Pill is birth control that can be used up to five days (120 hours) after unprotected sex, to prevent pregnancy. Costs vary from $30 to $65. Young people can access the morning-after pill, by visiting their local pharmacy.  They do not need a prescription.

Maryborough Education Centre – School Nurse Service

Workers may like to refer students to the School Nurse for information relating to contraception, pregnancy, sexually transmitted infections and other sexual health related issues. For contraception, pap smears and screening for sexually transmitted infections (STI’s) and other sexual health related assistance, find local General Practitioners under the Medical Support Tab.
