Maryborough District Health Service – Antenatal Clinic Services

Offers a full range of services including complete care from pregnancy confirmation, through to the birth of the baby and post natal care (care after the birth).

Young people can access Antenatal Clinic Services from 8 weeks gestation, via General Practitioner (GP) referral or via self-referral (with or without the support of a Worker).

A Social Worker is available at the Antenatal Clinic on Thursdays.

Child Birth Education Services

Child Birth Education Services run 4 times a year and give important information about the birth of the baby and caring for the baby after they’re born.  Referral is through Antenatal Clinic Services.

One on one Antenatal Support

For young people who are pregnant and would like one on one support in relation to pregnancy, labour, feeding and caring for your baby.  Young people can self-refer to this service themselves or with support from a parent or worker, or they can be referred via Antenatal Clinic Services.
