For support with family planning, pregnancy confirmation, referral to services including Antenatal Clinic, counselling services and abortion services.  Medical support and information throughout pregnancy and beyond.

Young people aged 16+ can access the service independently (without a parent or legal guardian).  They are required to have a Medicare number (they don’t have to physically present the card, as long as they have the number).  If the young person is unable to access their Medicare number, Nightingale Clinic staff may be able to access details of their Medicare number for them if they are able to provide identification (ID).

It is preferred that young people under the age of 15 be accompanied by a parent, legal guardian or other responsible adult such as a relative, social worker or school support person.

If a young person is under the age of 15 and does not have an adult available to accompany them, they can talk to the staff about options.
