If parents are uncertain or don’t feel confident to give their children sexual health information, they can encourage their sons/daughters to visit the school nurse for information relating to sexual health related issues.

For contraception, pap smears and screening for sexually transmitted infections (STI’s) and other sexual health related assistance, find local General Practitioners under the Medical Support Tab.

Morning-After Pill

The Morning-After Pill is birth control that can be used up to five days (120 hours) after unprotected sex, to prevent pregnancy. Costs vary from $30 to $65.

To access the morning-after pill, visit a local pharmacy.  The morning after pill does not need a prescription.
