School/Education Provider Welfare Support
If you have relationship concerns or questions, you can talk to your school or education providers’ Welfare Support Staff by visiting their offices.
Maryborough Education Centre – School Nurse Service
Visit the school nurse for information relating to contraception, pregnancy, sexually transmitted infections and other sexual health related issues.
For contraception, pap smears and screening for sexually transmitted infections (STI’s) and other sexual health related assistance, find your local GP under the Medical Support Tab.
Morning-After Pill
The Morning-After Pill is birth control you can use up to five days (120 hours) after unprotected sex, to prevent pregnancy. Costs vary from $30 to $65.
To access the morning-after pill, visit your local pharmacy. You do not need a prescription.
