Counselling, referral and support is available at MDHS to assist people in dealing with life’s challenges, including bullying, peer related difficulties, stress, anger management, loss and grief, relationship breakdowns or issues, family issues, sexuality and gender identity issues, self harm, anxiety and depression.

Contact MDHS General Intake: 5461 0333, press 1 to be put through to Community Services and ask to speak to the Intake Worker.

Wellness Centre Clinic:  The Wellness Centre Drop-In Service is open from 9am to 12 noon Monday – Friday.  A health professional is available to speak with you about any health related concerns and can help to connect you with services including counselling.

Social Work/Counselling staff are available at the Wellness Centre Drop-In Service on Monday mornings if you would like to talk about counselling options.

Mindfulness Meditation: Is a program to equip people of all ages with skills to manage stress, negative thinking, anxiety and depression.  It is an 8 week program offered at intervals throughout the year.  For information call MDHS on 5461 0333, press 1 to be put through to Community Services and ask to speak to Lindy Keating.
